Vickie Maybury Guest Coach
"Artistry is an outcome of an emotional connection,” says Vickie Maybury. Vickie is on the current Sweet Adeline Board of Directors and is an Expression Specialist. She's also the master director of the esteemed Skyline Chorus of Denver, Colorado, which is currently (2020) the 4th place chorus in the world. We were very fortunate to have her teach and encourage us tonight on our Zoom rehearsal. She drove home, the point about getting to that place where we can trust that the technique will be there, so we can tell the story to the audience in a way that will make them want to come along with us.
